The Eastern Iowa Outlaws Women's Roller Derby League is a newly formed league. The league was formed by Michelle Miller (Dead Lee Danni), Rob Miller (Rush-N-Rob) and Tiffany Vomacka (V Train) in 2010. Both Michelle Miller and Tiffany Vomacka are former skaters from another Iowa derby team. They are excited to bring this high energy sport to Dubuque and the Tri-State area. The Outlaws proudly call the Dubuque Five Flags Center their HOME.
The Outlaws are a competitive women's roller derby league founded to give veteran and new skaters an opportunity to belong to a league that is run by the skaters. The women in this league come from all walks of life; from insurance, education and law enforcement, to chemists, students, and stay at home mothers. Skaters come in all shapes, sizes, and ages; ranging from 19-45 but must be at least 18 years of age to join the team. The Outlaws are currently recruiting skaters, volunteers and sponsors for their upcoming season.
The league's mission is to bring a new, fresh competitive sporting venue to the Tri-State area. The Outlaws will strive to be good ambassadors and provide good family entertainment for this area..
The organization will be involved and work closely with many charitable organizations to give back to the community. This league offers women the opportunity to be involved with a league that will allow each woman to share their talents and strengths and build positive, healthy relationships within the league and the community.
The Eastern Iowa Outlaws Women's Derby League is a non-profit organization ran solely on business sponsorships, promotional activities and team member dues. The skaters on this league are not paid to play derby and fund their personal equipment and fees at 100%.
